The same care at every quantity

We're Grand Home Decor, a UK-based house of Acrylic, Perspex and MDF sheets. Our sheets turn up in shelving, splashbacks, signage, picture frames and all sorts of DIY projects up and down the country. We cut every sheet ourselves, to the size you actually need, not just what's sitting on a shelf.

Our Story

At Grand Home Decor, we believe ordering sheet materials should be simple and straightforward. Whether you need acrylic, Perspex, or MDF, finding the right thickness, finish, and size shouldn't be confusing or time-consuming.

That's why we focus on providing clear product information, accurate cutting, and an easy ordering process for both standard and custom sizes. From choosing the right material to receiving a precisely cut sheet, our goal is to make the whole experience as smooth and hassle-free as possible.

What We Do

We cut Acrylic, Perspex and MDF sheets to size. That's the short version. The slightly longer version is that we handle standard sizes, custom Made to Measure orders, and bulk or wholesale quantities for businesses and trades that need sheets in volume.

Acrylic comes in 2mm, 3mm and 5mm, with a choice of Beam Saw or Laser Cut finish. Perspex is our 1mm option, and MDF comes in a standard 2mm board. Whatever the size or quantity, it gets cut properly and checked before it goes out.

Whether you need one sheet for a weekend project or a bulk order for a shop fit-out, it's the same process and the same standard.

How We Cut Every Sheet

Every sheet gets cut in-house, on our own equipment. We don't send orders out to a third party and hope it comes back right. Instead, we control every part of it ourselves, from the first cut to the final check.

We use beam saws for straight, clean cuts and laser cutters for a smoother, more detailed edge. Between the two, we can handle simple straight cuts right through to more detailed shapes, whether that's a single sheet or a bulk order running into the hundreds.

Once a sheet is cut, someone actually checks it. Size, edges, surface, thickness, all of it, before it gets packaged up. It's not a complicated process, but it's consistent, and that consistency is really the whole point.

Why Made to Measure Matters to Us

Standard sizes don't fit every job, and we got tired of seeing people forced to buy a sheet bigger than they needed, or make do with something slightly wrong, just because that's what was on the shelf. That's really why Made to Measure exists.

You tell us the thickness, finish and exact dimensions, and we cut it to that, nothing rounded up or approximated. It works the same whether you need one custom piece for a one-off project, or a batch of identical custom sizes for a trade or bulk order.

We built it this way because we'd rather cut you the right size than sell you the wrong one.

Who We Help

We work with all sorts of people, not just one type of customer. Homeowners tackling a DIY project, tradespeople who need sheets cut properly and on time, retailers wanting display and shop fitting materials, and businesses ordering in bulk for regular stock or trade supply.

Some customers order a single sheet for one job. Others place regular bulk orders as part of how they run their business. Both get the same accurate cut and the same straightforward service. We don't treat one as more important than the other.

If you're not sure whether we can help with what you need, standard, custom or bulk, ask. Chances are we've cut something similar before.

What We Care About

We'd rather tell you the truth about a sheet than talk you into buying more than you need. If 2mm will do the job, we won't push you towards 5mm. If MDF isn't the right call for a damp spot, we'll say so. That's just how we'd want to be treated when buying something ourselves.

Accuracy matters to us more than most people probably think about when it comes to a sheet of Acrylic or MDF. A few millimetres out might not sound like much, but it's the difference between something fitting properly and something that doesn't. So we check every cut, every time, no exceptions.

Pricing stays fair and straightforward too. No inflating prices just because it's a bulk order, no hidden costs tucked away until checkout. What you see is what you pay, whether you're ordering one sheet or a hundred.

Why Customers Choose Us

There are plenty of places to buy sheet material online, so it's fair to ask why people choose us. Mostly, it comes down to trust. You know the sheet you order is the sheet you'll get, cut accurately, in the material and finish you asked for, whether that's one piece or a bulk order.

We don't outsource the cutting, we don't cut corners on checking it, and we don't try to sell you more than your project actually needs. It's a simple way to run a business, but it keeps people coming back, and it's why many of our customers are trade and bulk buyers who order from us regularly rather than as a one-off.

At the end of the day, we want you to get the right sheet, cut right, at a fair price. Everything else on this page is really just the detail behind that one idea.
